With a history spanning over 185 years, Juntendo University is a distinguished institution in Japan, renowned for its excellence in healthcare education and research. We are proud to offer a comprehensive range of programs, including one of the country’s top medical schools and a network of affiliated university hospitals that play a crucial role in clinical education and research. Our Faculty of Health Data Science, established in 2023, offers a dynamic undergraduate program that brings together our expertise in health, medicine, sports, and data science. This program is designed to develop the next generation of leaders in Health Data Science, equipping students with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in a world where data-driven decision-making is increasingly essential. Our graduates are prepared to make significant contributions to the fields of health, medicine, and sports on a global scale. At Juntendo University, we are proud to support a diverse and vibrant international community. This year, approximately 30% of our students are from abroad, thanks in part to the strong connections we’ve built through events like the JASSO Study in Japan Fair. We provide comprehensive support to our international students, ensuring they have a rewarding academic journey from the moment they arrive until graduation. Looking ahead, we are excited to introduce a new master’s and doctoral program, the Graduate School of Health Data Science, set to launch in April 2025. This program will further expand our commitment to advanced education and research in data science, opening up even more opportunities for students to develop their expertise.
