Chiba University

Chiba University is a national university with 11 undergraduate and 9 postgraduate schools ranging from humanities to social sciences, natural sciences, engineering, horticulture and medical sciences. The history was back around 150 years ago and we have continued evolving with times. There are many advanced research programs and high quality education programs. As of 2024, around 900 international students from more than 50 countries are enrolled in. There are four campuses which are located in the western part of Chiba prefecture, very close to Tokyo, and one campus in Tokyo. Climate is mild and commodity prices are relatively low, making students easy to live. Also, there is International Support Desk (ISD) in each campus to support student life in Japan for international students. If it is needed, you could apply for scholarship as well.
